My husband and myself came to UK in 2007. We had been out of the country for more days than we were allowed. The reason for this was for the birth of our grandchildren in South Africa, London and New Zealand.
Our visa was expiring in July 2012 and we applied to Immigration to grant us Indefinite leave to remain. They told us that they were not interested and that we would have to go back to our country of birth. We were quite distressed when we heard this, as we were on an Ancestral Visa and my daughter and 3 grandchildren are British and live here. We decided to contact Magne & Company Solicitors for advise.
We consulted with Mr. Magne who explained the Immigration laws in detail and gave us some hope. He was excellent in his knowledge of Immigration law and explained everything to us. He is not just an ordinary solicitor and specialises only in this field. We gave him all the information he needed and he promptly sent everything off to the Home Office.
We were so impressed when we received our Indefinite leave to remain a few months later. We can honestly say that without Mr. Magne's help we would have been back in South Africa.
My husband and myself cannot stress how grateful we are that we consulted him. We can highly recommend Magne & Co Solicitors who were prepared to go the extra mile to help. Thank you Mr. Magne.
